Calvary Christian Centre was established by the late Rev Aaron Korley Antonio in 1985 as Vessels  Of Christ, and the name was subsequently changed to Calvary Christian Centre (CCC) in 1988.  
The church started off on purely evangelistic grounds. Crusades were held in villages, and as souls were won, they were handed over to the local churches to be followed up and nurtured. As time progressed, the church could not really account for the souls given out. It therefore became imperative that the group took up the responsibility of nurturing these souls itself, hence the establishment of a Headquarters in Accra accordingly. In the course of time, the Church established five branches at the following locations: Nketepa, Donkorkrom, Amanorkrom, Akropong, Kwakyekrom and Kwameduodo.
These branches were subsequently ceded to a sister church.
Based on its mandate to win souls and establish them in the Lord,  CCC launched into the deep again and currently has Branches at Osu and Adabraka in the Greater Accra Region, Damang and Kofi Asare in the Eastern Region and Adidome in the Volta Region of Ghana.
The  Headquarters of Calvary Christian  Centre is currently  located at Kokomlemle near Nnaam Artistry and Benz Gate in the Greater Accra Region.
